Dr Htet Naing
General Practitioner
Htet (pronounced Ted) is a General Practitioner with a passion for providing personalised and compassionate care to patients of all ages. After graduating in 2019 and relocating to Australia from Myanmar in 2022, she gained broad clinical experience working across various specialties at Mackay Base Hospital before transitioning to general practice in 2024.
Her areas of particular interest include children’s health, women’s health, mental health, and travel medicine. She’s committed to ongoing learning and believes in taking the time to truly listen to her patients and understand their individual needs.
She’s fluent in Burmese and English but does not speak Mandarin.
Outside of work, she enjoys painting, solving Rubik’s cubes, and relaxing with Netflix.
Please note: Dr Naing is a privately billing doctor. She will bulk bill children under the age of 16 and anyone over the age of 75 with a valid concession/pension card.
